Open Enrollment + Free of Charge
STISD is an open-enrollment district, and every student in the 3-county area served (Cameron, Hidalgo and Willacy Counties) has access to the academic services of STISD, if they choose to enroll. Because it is a public school district, there is no cost for students to attend, and bus transportation is also free of charge. Our all-virtual campus also offers students and families an option to participate in courses 100 percent from home.
